VICE/VIRTUE, The Fabricant Creative Directors

The only way to predict the future is to create it

Inhale the future, exhale the past. If you want to be truly future proof, you’ll need to be defining what the future will look like.
Last year, Scandinavian fashion retailer Carlings changed the world of fashion and launched the world’s first digital clothing collection where consumers could show off digital fashion in their social feeds while reducing the harmful consequences of fast fashion.
Executive Creative Director of Vice/Virtue, Morten Grubak, and fashion designer Amber Jae Slooten will let you in on how to create ideas and IPs that break the status quo by looking towards the future.

About Morten & Amber

Morten Grubak is the ECD at VIRTUE, The Creative Agency by VICE. For the last four years he’s led VIRTUE’s Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and UK agencies from non-contenders to top 3 most awarded agencies. A recent sign of his teams’ success in 2019 is the win of both Best of Discipline at the ONE SHOW and Grand Prix & Gold in Cannes with the adDRESS THE FUTURE case.
A philanthropic entrepreneur by heart, Morten co-founded Sky.Garden; A phone-based e-commerce platform allowing African Females to get around the archaic laws keeping them from owning businesses. Sky.Garden was honored as Start-up of the Year 2018 by the Danish Digital Association.

Amber Jae Slooten is a fashion designer and works with the body, animation and digital fashion design. As the first to graduate with a full digital collection back in 2016 her work always questions the way in which we will fit, purchase and wear clothing in the future. She is a co-founder and creative director of The Fabricant, a digital fashion house that creates clothing that is always digital, never physical. Unconstrained by the boundaries of the physical realm, they create intriguing and seductive 3D fashion experiences of endless possibility.
